Electricians involved with controls (DDC) earn good money and there is minimal hard labour involved. Look at companies like Schneider that operate in building management.
Alternative To College Debt
- Commercial refrigeration (either air-con or fridge) are also well paying. Combing refrigeration with elec will open up more opportunities for you.
- Commercial fridgies are on about $40+/hr and can clear $100k+ after overtime. Don’t consider it if you struggle with the heat, hot weather policies do not exist.
